EASTERN CONFERENCE WILD CARD

The Eastern Conference Wild Card race is incredibly close, with six teams vying for two coveted spots. The Boston Bruins currently lead this pack with 86 points (12 GR), closely followed by the New York Islanders at 85 points (11 GR). Just behind them, the Detroit Red Wings (84 points, 12 GR), Ottawa Senators (83 points, 12 GR), Philadelphia Flyers (80 points, 13 GR), and Washington Capitals (79 points, 11 GR) are all within striking distance, making every remaining game critical.

• Detroit Red Wings: Having recently slipped out of a playoff spot, the Red Wings hold a crucial game in hand over the Islanders.
