ECHL Unveils Preseason Game Calendar
The ECHL has officially released its preseason schedule, a series of 18 exhibition games slated to take place from Thursday, October 8th to Sunday, October 11th.
The Premier 'AA' Hockey League is gearing up for its 39th season, which is set to begin on Friday, October 16th, with an initial slate of eight games. The opening weekend will continue with an additional 14 matchups on Saturday, October 17th, and conclude with five more games on Sunday, October 18th.
As the third-oldest professional hockey league in existence, trailing only the National Hockey League (NHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL), the 2025-26 ECHL season will encompass 30 teams spread across 23 states and one Canadian province. The league's extensive regular season features a total of 1,080 games, running from October 16, 2026, to April 11, 2027.
