The Golden State Warriors, having achieved a remarkable comeback in their previous play-in game, were unable to replicate that magic. Their season concluded with a defeat against the Phoenix Suns, falling 111-96 in their second consecutive play-in contest.
Despite scoring the first basket of the game on Friday night, the Warriors were unable to maintain their lead and never pulled ahead again. Coach Steve Kerr acknowledged the team’s performance, stating, “Tonight we just didn’t have it.”
