Fiorentina is reportedly in discussions with Wolverhampton Wanderers regarding the transfer of Spanish left-back Hugo Bueno. According to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, negotiations are underway for the 23-year-old defender.
Bueno has been a part of the Wolves academy since 2019 and previously had a loan spell with Feyenoord during the 2024-25 season. This past campaign, he made 38 appearances across all competitions for Wolves, registering one goal and two assists.
This potential move to Fiorentina would see Bueno become an option for the left-back position, potentially replacing Fabiano Parisi, who is sidelined for an extended period due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear. While Fiorentina has other players for the role, including Robin Gosens, Niccolò Fortini, and Luis Balbo, Bueno’s acquisition could add further depth and quality to their squad.
This pursuit of Premier League talent is not new for Fiorentina, who have previously signed players like Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur and Jack Harrison from Leeds United.
