Preview Serie A: Milan vs. Inter – Derby Preview, Probable Line-ups & How to Watch

In the highly anticipated Derby della Madonnina, Milan will rely on their attacking stars Rafael Leão and Christian Pulisic as they face Inter. The Nerazzurri are expected to feature Francesco Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny in attack.

The match kicks off at 20:45 CET (19:45 GMT) at the Stadio San Siro (Giuseppe Meazza) in Milan.

Inter currently holds a strong lead at the top of the Serie A table, boasting a 10-point advantage over their city rivals.

However, the Nerazzurri face some squad challenges: they will be without their captain and top scorer, Lautaro Martinez. Marcus Thuram’s participation is also in doubt due to a fever, making him unlikely to start.

Milan also contends with absences, as the team will be without Santiago Gimenez, Matteo Gabbia, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Davide Bartesaghi is available after recovering from a minor injury sustained last weekend against Cremonese. Consequently, Pervis Estupiñán is considered the primary candidate to start as a left midfielder.

According to various sources, including Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia, Hakan Çalhanoğlu is likely to start on the bench for Inter. Nicolò Barella, Piotr Zieliński, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are expected to form the central midfield trio.

Milan’s attack will feature Pulisic and Leão, with additional offensive options available on the bench.
