Forward Justin Dowling won`t need to move far during the upcoming off-season period.
The New York Rangers officially announced Monday that they have signed the 34-year-old forward to a contract spanning two years.
Dowling spent the previous season playing for the New Jersey Devils, where he reached new personal bests by participating in 52 games and recording seven points.
Over the course of his National Hockey League career, the player from Calgary has accumulated a total of nine goals and 17 assists through 152 games. His NHL playing history includes stints with the Devils, the Dallas Stars, and the Vancouver Canucks.
