The highly anticipated PFL Africa event is just around the corner, and fans can now mark their calendars as the full broadcast details have been officially released by the Professional Fighters League.
On Monday, the league confirmed that the main card of Saturday`s inaugural African event will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+ for viewers in the United States. This exciting debut, part of the Road to Dubai series, is set to unfold at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town, South Africa. Headlining the night is a thrilling middleweight clash between reigning champion Johnny Eblen and challenger Costello van Steenis.
The co-main event promises an exciting showdown featuring the undefeated 2024 flyweight tournament champion, Dakota Ditcheva, as she steps into the cage against Sumiko Inaba.
The main card also boasts appearances from celebrated former Bellator champions. A.J. McKee is set to make his return to the featherweight division to take on Akhmed Magomedov, while Corey Anderson will step up to the heavyweight division to battle the formidable 2024 heavyweight tournament champion, Denis Goltsov.
Rounding out the main card is a lightweight encounter featuring Artur Zaynukov squaring off against Takeshi Izumi.
Prior to the main Road to Dubai event kicking off, a separate PFL Africa preliminary card, featuring nine exciting fights, will be available for streaming directly on the PFL App.
