Mircea Lucescu’s health has taken a severe turn this weekend. The 80-year-old coach suffered a second acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) on Friday, following an initial cardiac incident that occurred last Sunday, just five days prior. Despite having been relieved of his duties as the Romanian national team coach on Thursday, the veteran manager has since been transferred to intensive care due to the critical deterioration of his condition.
