Highly accomplished grappler Tye Ruotolo is scheduled to make his first appearance in mixed martial arts, facing 19-year-old Adrian Lee at ONE Fight Night 35. The event is set to be held at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on September 5th.
Tye and his brother Kade Ruotolo are renowned multi-time grappling champions who signed with ONE Championship with the intention of competing in both grappling and MMA. Kade has already successfully transitioned, holding a perfect 3-0 record in professional mixed martial arts. Now, Tye is slated for his first MMA bout this September.
Throughout his grappling career, Ruotolo has impressive wins over notable opponents such as Garry Tonon, Marat Gafurov, and Reinier de Ridder. He will now test his complete fighting abilities in MMA, facing a significant challenge in his very first fight.
