Gianluca Saro is poised to regain his starting goalkeeper position for Cittadella. The young shot-stopper initially joined the club in January from Cremonese to provide support for Zanellati. Following Zanellati’s injury, Saro stepped into the starting role.
However, in the last two matches, the opportunity fell to Maniero. Unfortunately for Maniero, he has received a three-match suspension, paving the way for Saro’s return to the starting XI.
