Frosinone Aims to Stay in Serie A with US Investment
Frosinone Calcio has undergone a significant ownership change following their fourth promotion to Serie A in 12 years. President Stirpe sought reliable investors, and as of July 1st, the US platform Clara Vista now holds an 80% majority stake in the club. Stirpe will remain in his role for two years, and Massimiliano Alvini continues as head coach.
The primary objective for the upcoming season is to secure their place in Serie A. To achieve this, the team has already made several key additions. In attack, the club has signed two players from Napoli: offensive midfielder HASA and winger ZERBIN. They will join promotion heroes Ghedjemis, the Algerian talent, and center-forward Raimondo, whose loan from Bologna has been extended.
In goal, DESPLANCHES has been acquired from Palermo. In midfield, EL AZZOUZI, who arrived from Fortuna Düsseldorf, is expected to play a crucial role. He will bolster a department led by playmaker Calò, with support from Koutsoupias. The club's transfer market activity is still very active, with a particular focus on strengthening the midfield. Negotiations are reportedly underway for Schmid from Werder Bremen, Grillitsch from Braga, and Masini from Genoa.
Among the emerging young talents is 19-year-old Filippo Grosso, son of Fiorentina's coach. In defense, central defenders Monterisi and Calvani will provide solid protection.
