Defenceman Cam York is set to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The restricted free agent has finalized a five-year contract extension valued at $25.75 million, securing his continued presence with the Flyers organization.

Originally the 14th overall selection in the 2019 NHL Draft, York has been a significant contributor to the Flyers` top-six defensive unit. He has participated in 235 games for the team, accumulating 77 points.

Hailing from Anaheim, California, York also proudly represented the United States in two World Juniors tournaments, earning a gold medal in 2021.

During the early part of the 2024-25 season, York was placed on injured reserve and missed roughly one month of play due to an upper-body injury.
