The highly anticipated EuroBasket 2025 tournament kicks off on August 27th, bringing together 24 national teams vying for the prestigious title of European champions. This edition marks the return of the 24-team format, last seen in 2022 when Spain emerged victorious against France.
The competition structure features four groups of six teams, with the top four from each group progressing to a 16-team knockout stage. Group phase matches will be hosted across Cyprus, Finland, Latvia, and Poland, culminating in the knockout rounds held exclusively in Riga, Latvia.
The tournament boasts an impressive roster of talent, featuring numerous NBA All-Stars and key players. Fans can look forward to seeing stars like Luka Dončić (Slovenia), Nikola Jokić (Serbia), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece), Kristaps Porziņģis (Latvia), Lauri Markkanen (Finland), and Franz Wagner (Germany) among others.
Running until September 15th, approximately two weeks before NBA training camps commence, the tournament will conclude with the bronze medal match and the championship final in Riga. Below, you`ll find comprehensive information on participating teams, the full schedule, and game results as they become available.
