The upcoming Las Vegas Summer League game featuring Cooper Flagg and Bronny James on Thursday evening is expected to have high ticket costs.
As reported by Vivid Seats on Tuesday, the average ticket price for Thursday`s events is $223. Prices range from $85 for the least expensive seats up to $3,073 for premium courtside access. Very few tickets, less than 1%, were still available for purchase through Vivid Seats for that specific day.
In comparison, Victor Wembanyama`s summer league debut in 2023 saw an average ticket price of $297. Vivid Seats indicates that the average price for the game featuring Flagg and James is poised to be the most expensive since Wembanyama`s first appearance in the competition.
Thursday will be the first summer league appearance for Flagg, who was the top overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the recent draft.
James has already participated in one summer league contest, scoring 10 points in a victory over the Miami Heat during the California Classic last Sunday. His team, the Los Angeles Lakers, will play another game on Tuesday against the San Antonio Spurs before heading to Las Vegas.
It`s worth noting that tickets for the Las Vegas Summer League are sold for the entire day`s events, not per individual game. Another anticipated game on Thursday features the second pick, Ace Bailey, facing the third pick, VJ Edgecombe, after the Mavericks-Lakers game. However, Edgecombe has missed recent games due to a bruised thumb.
